THE OWNER
blogging serves as a memory machine that helped document the chronicles of the owner's life since 2005.
the owner has all rights to express opinions on this site and believes that no one should judge, comment and condemned because everyone have different perceptions of things around them.
running have always been and always will be the owner's favourite sport. in the past one year, the owner took up fencing, windsurfing and mountaineering to better help strengthen the body and mind. other sports that the owner loves are swimming, badminton, table tennis, xcountry, track and field, trekking, snorkelling, scuba diving, field hockey, biking, rugby. the sky is not the limit.
the owner has always been fascinated with music and believes that it is the universal language that gets across any barrier. all time favourite genres includes pop rock, punk rock, classical, flamenco and acoustic being the current one. guitar, the chosen instrument, has been with the owner since may 2007. all-things-guitar are self-taught, as the internet is a wonderful source of learning.
the love for travelling, the owner believes, has been nearly-explicitly written down on this blog. "the love for travelling" is actually an understatement, for the owner live to travel. the places that the owner have been to, although not that many yet, are pieces of puzzles that have taken their place in the owner's heart and soul and words are certainly incomparable with actual experiences.
photography has since played a major part in documenting the owner's travel experiences. thanks to the invention of cameras, the ability to capture emotions and actions of people and the awe of mother nature are made possible. a picture, and may the owner say a good one, paints a zeallion words. and that is the beauty of photography.

i always get tons of greetings today. technology has evolved much and with it, comes lazier peeps. peeps who cant rmb their friends special day. relying on tech to do so. i rmb days where everyone have small phone book with their friends add, bday, etc... was so much memorable. i rmb the days where pager was the 'in thing'. thinking of that now makes me giggle. imagine the beeping sounds whenever someone pages you. oh! and finding urself heading to the nearest phone booth to call that person. i rmb the day where i'll play around the phone booth using the secret toll free line or reaching in the coin collection pocket to find unclaimed coins. awww~~~ i hate rmbing the past, i missed them! modern kids wont get to know how impt the phone booth was, wont understand the joy of playing in a sand filled playground with see-saw and swings, wont understand the fun of putting in the bus card and pressing for the correct fare or showing the bus uncle your bus concession, wont understand the feeling of getting cut while running thru tall grass, wont understand how expensive it was buying a diskette measuring at 15x15cm, wont understand playing games made out of 8bits and all their music were made out of midi, etc... even babies think that everything can be change with a swipe of a finger! thats why teachers teaches their student how to derive formulas! they want us to understand the digusting process of a simple formula. tech has def came a long way within a short time frame but still, its impt to teach kids how it was in the past and to be grateful of what they have now. i was never good at rmbing bdays as a kid. furthermore, ppl with chi names lol. but i wish for people to be less reliant on tech. they are not always correct. Tschus! intercalary!
