blogging serves as a memory machine that helped document the chronicles of the owner's life since 2005.

the owner has all rights to express opinions on this site and believes that no one should judge, comment and condemned because everyone have different perceptions of things around them.

running have always been and always will be the owner's favourite sport. in the past one year, the owner took up fencing, windsurfing and mountaineering to better help strengthen the body and mind. other sports that the owner loves are swimming, badminton, table tennis, xcountry, track and field, trekking, snorkelling, scuba diving, field hockey, biking, rugby. the sky is not the limit.

the owner has always been fascinated with music and believes that it is the universal language that gets across any barrier. all time favourite genres includes pop rock, punk rock, classical, flamenco and acoustic being the current one. guitar, the chosen instrument, has been with the owner since may 2007. all-things-guitar are self-taught, as the internet is a wonderful source of learning.

the love for travelling, the owner believes, has been nearly-explicitly written down on this blog. "the love for travelling" is actually an understatement, for the owner live to travel. the places that the owner have been to, although not that many yet, are pieces of puzzles that have taken their place in the owner's heart and soul and words are certainly incomparable with actual experiences.

photography has since played a major part in documenting the owner's travel experiences. thanks to the invention of cameras, the ability to capture emotions and actions of people and the awe of mother nature are made possible. a picture, and may the owner say a good one, paints a zeallion words. and that is the beauty of photography.

the last sem

...and at this very moment typing, im trying to fart lol.

for the sake of banishing aweful memories from my brain, i shall rant it here and shall only retain the good stuffs. the last sem was crazy. it started with 1 mth of crazy design project (when its suppose to be a sem long mod. the duration for completion gets shorter every yr prolly bcos it wasnt worth a sem to submit such projs). the two visiting profs commended us for finishing such proj that students from their country takes a sem to complete. dude, this is nus man; do it or get out.

im left with 3mths to complete my fyp and tbs (truth to be said), the materials were not here and i haven got any readings; alamak, how to start writing report man. getting a good prof and proj are two impt things to look out for in securing an a. sadly, ive none of that and from pass records, the highest attainable grade is b+. oh well, its good enough for me. spent half a mth catching up on studies and preparing/setting expt equipments bla bla. and~ im left with 2mths... with trgs, sch and fyp...its crazy. the saying 'time flies' isnt accurate esp if ya in my shoes, time teleports! 2mths remaining till deadline. so, i spent 1+mth chionging as many crazy expts as possible. the secret in writing a good thesis is to conduct any relevant expts (even thou the prof made no mention of it, have to take the initiative to explore) and do not put ridiculas readings! (soln -> redo) unless you wanna be prompt during your presentation. my legs and back took the worst hit esp working from 8-8 standing up. spent 8days with 3hrs sleep writing but im damn glad to be done 2weeks before the deadline.

had a com during the exam week (crazy ttm) and yea, my time management over the yrs have attain xxx (limited vocab here). aside from fyp and trg for com, ive got the time to study and nailed the papers (except for phy). this got even better with the submission of the final draft after exams (submitted 2 weeks before deadline to prof for vetting but wth! who the hell goes overseas and only comes back on the day of submission. therefore, have to request for extension) followed by presentation in the following week. btw, both prof and examiner was quite impressed with the amt of work and results (ya man, i slap shit in their face for underestimating me). weeks later (after minor changes and printing of hard cover), i finally submitted my thesis. although there were plenty of stuffs i thought i could do given more time, im happy with the amt of work in such a short time. im definitely taking the experience of setting up a totally new proj and passing the shit to someone else away with me.

everything is fking over. now, for the results~

ive finally grad! yes in dec. this feeling of freedom was damn shiok. that disgustingly feeling of travelling to sch doesnt feel as heavy as before where thoughts of leture, assignment submission, fyp expt, thesis submission, etc lingers in my head for the entire day. and from time to time, i would dream of them to an extend i dreamt of my trgs! mentally exhusting? more like brainy exhusting. my brain can finally 'awww~' and relax one corner.
