THE OWNER

blogging serves as a memory machine that helped document the chronicles of the owner's life since 2005.

the owner has all rights to express opinions on this site and believes that no one should judge, comment and condemned because everyone have different perceptions of things around them.

running have always been and always will be the owner's favourite sport. in the past one year, the owner took up fencing, windsurfing and mountaineering to better help strengthen the body and mind. other sports that the owner loves are swimming, badminton, table tennis, xcountry, track and field, trekking, snorkelling, scuba diving, field hockey, biking, rugby. the sky is not the limit.

the owner has always been fascinated with music and believes that it is the universal language that gets across any barrier. all time favourite genres includes pop rock, punk rock, classical, flamenco and acoustic being the current one. guitar, the chosen instrument, has been with the owner since may 2007. all-things-guitar are self-taught, as the internet is a wonderful source of learning.

the love for travelling, the owner believes, has been nearly-explicitly written down on this blog. "the love for travelling" is actually an understatement, for the owner live to travel. the places that the owner have been to, although not that many yet, are pieces of puzzles that have taken their place in the owner's heart and soul and words are certainly incomparable with actual experiences.

photography has since played a major part in documenting the owner's travel experiences. thanks to the invention of cameras, the ability to capture emotions and actions of people and the awe of mother nature are made possible. a picture, and may the owner say a good one, paints a zeallion words. and that is the beauty of photography.

the title is a combination of jan + feb lol. looked and sound like some terrorist group. it would be interesting if they came asking me for copyright hahaha! not.

life was pretty much back to trg and sleeping but with the new found freedom, im able to watch more shows than normal, start playing my long awaited games and food!!! [while experiencing mild writer's block, i dug out a huge chunk of ear wax with my finger lol! i just have to share it with everyone]

cny was as boring as usual but ive to say that the gathering at wk's place was nice. so much awesome food! [im still staring at the ear wax sitting beside the keyboard]

went for 3 interviews aft cny. its interesting how interviews are nowadays.

company a, was interviewed by an ah pek who labelled me as an 'average student' after look thru my results. he asked for my olevel which i thought was so old school (who the hell does that nowadays) so instead i show him my poly ones. was asked abt the unit of clay by which i cant rmb and gave the wrong value. screw that. the pay was pretty low (consultant is usually quite low). next.

company b, was interviewed by the boss for 1+hrs. i was already cursing with every breath i spoke. again, was tested on my knowledge given a scenario and the formula to skin friction! (my bad for not rmbing off hand) but am glad that he looked at specific mod's grade. naturally, im better at geotech why else would i by in this field right. went for a site visit on a separate day. the people and environment is good. no office politics is what im looking for in a company. the only thing i dislike was that theres no veh provided (most of their sites are at jurong island and wth...so far from trg venue, cant even go for evening trg) and the pay was pretty low too.

company c, was arranged by a friend's friend. it was a sat aft trg and lol the journey was quite funny with my heart skipping a beat each time i attempt to change my clothes. anws, the benefits were quite good plus there veh provided and the pay is good too. not forgetting the bonus lol and its something i see myself doing long (although i wish it was a tunnelling company, oh well, have to start somewhere man).

and so...i accepted company c and had been working for 6 days now.

am currently doing some design cal in the office. still waiting for the company to settle the veh and posting to the site. was damn sleepy for the initial days in the office. and wth, the office com blocked out fb, youtube, even xinmsn! can slack even if i want to but least i dl concert's mp3. lucky they didnt block music player man! else its off to la la land lol. [my fingers smell of ear wax]

all these hyped abt twitter is annoying
