...an overdue post, was simply too lazy lol!
 kung fu panda went to watch with squashy and cl LOL! i admit i was feeling a little off that day but i did laugh during some funny scenes! (i seldom watch comedy and romance, furthermore...animation) storyline is pretty typical as in...panda learns to fight, panda saves the world, the end. however, the outstanding animations contributed greatly to the overall effects of the movie and bcos of that, it keeps the viewers on their feet. nicely done! star: 3.2 out of 5  the incredible hulk read it on the news that the creators gave hulk a new shade of green and this movie would be unlike the previous, more actions, more effects, more shots of the huge creature. indeed it is. however, i thought that the movie was an absolute turn off due to the fact that it doesnt follows the sequel and it was too speechy! z.z! i was bored to death aft watchin half way thru part 2. e only effect i thought was cool was the transformation of the hulk when he was tied down to the chair to test the antidote. stars: 2 out of 5 pan's labyrinth [not done watchin]  speed racer the use of computer graphic plus animation is tough job. no doubt, speed racer have proven that movies need not have huge movie sets in order to give e audience what they want. lol! i juz thought that some scenes were too extreme. esp the one whereby speed's car was flung down an icy mountain and his clawed wheels helped him to navigate back up, simply non realistic. well, the movie was exacted from the jap manage (non-friction). stars: 2.8 out of 5  over her dead body e movie caught my eyes and yes! the story is interestin. thou, its expected that the phyco is goin to go for the guy, juz the thought of a ghost hauntin the phyco to prevent them from gettin together is funny. the one whose acting skill you must look out for is the female ghost (watever her name), great actin from her there. however, this movie is simillar to the one in the 80's, ,whereby the male ghost forces the phyco to communicate with his girlfriend to warn her abt the murderer. stars: 3 out of 5  sex in the city this show isnt for those whom hadn watch the tv series! cos im one of them and im trying to figure who goin with who and what each of them were doin. well, the script writer was smart enough to have a small intro at the beginning so that ppl like me wouldn get lost. i guess the part where i find it cool was when carrie's bf wrote the entire bunch of love letters from the book and send to her email...and the last love letter he sent was labelled 'from me' and it reads...bla bla bla but i will love you forever. omg! anw, the camera shots are nice and creative (doesnt make ur eyes go dizzy). yet, its a typical love relationship story. e sex part could be hotter! ha! stars: 3 out of 5  wanted watched with r boy, r boy's friend, choon. was a last min thingy so i guess being late isnt of importance here (: the shots, graphics and stunts would blew anyone away. unfortunately, it doesnt work for me. i thought that the movie lacks details (storyline isnt clear, too typical) and the upclose stunts with actions in all camera view is horribly done. makes my eyes dizzy. well, i guess most of the guys werent there for the show but for e jaw dropping angelina jolie who plays 'a teacher' in charge of training e new kid. however, e best part of the movie would be the twist at the end, stunning. stars: 2.5 out of 5  10 promises to my dog i know its gonna be a typical story but who gives a damn? watchin a touchin movie once in a while is worth it. esp if it have anything to do with animals, they usually sets us thinkin~ i didnt expect her mum to die, i didnt expect her to be played by her, and i didnt expect the supposedly crying scene to be not so teary. what i mean is, they should allow the touchy scene to have more air time instead of flippin to the next scene just like that! and e mood is totally changed! horrible (the part whereby the dog dies and next showin the weddin of the girl n guy, catch no balls la!). still, i feel that her mum sets the 10 promises in order to help her daughter be a stronger n responsible person, i was truly touched. stars: 3 out of 5  red cliff john woo live up to his name as the first chinese director to have won an oscar. *applaud* thou its storyline is pretty confusing for those who isnt into history, it still gets the message across (and that is, cao cao is the villain). ha! i thought that all of the chinese guys look the same, and if it wasnt for those i had alr seen on screen...i wouldn be bothered. e flim tries to incorporate most of sun zi's teaching/strategies yet squeezing out quite a huge chunk of details. still, e viewers get to see the fights, actions, stars: 3 out of 5 A MUST WATCH!  batman: the dark knight ...WOW! cool effects, cool surprises, cool makeup, COOL SHIT!...all the roaring actions keep the viewers holdin onto their seat, u wont even have time to pee! lol! esp the part whereby the dummy body of batman was swung onto the mayor's window from above...everyone jumped! my only huge question mark is that the writers made joker a little too smart and batman a little too stupid and and and that wasnt how two face came abt, certainly he didnt died juz from fallin off a building! its way better then the previous batman movies! great job from heath ledger last movie...applaud stars: 4 out of 5 A MUST WATCH! Tschus! learn to appreciate how movies are made, dont juz watch and comment 0 comments |
