i believe few peeps have the same sentiments as me and that is money is not the top priority in life. really, money have always been the issue ever since the cavemens invented seashells for exchangin of goods. thou i understand the importance of money, it should not be the controlling factor in our lives. to me, i feel that its stupid to fight over money. like e insensible rising fuel hike, e increase price for rice? like what the hell!?...more gst, more erp?...i understand that erps are there to reduce traffic congestion but the gov is using the money! well, maybe we should ask the gov to submit a weekly report on where e spendings went to.
believe me, everything have their good n bad. work vs study. to some, study may not be as important. look at those entrepreneurs whom didn have an education or perhaps a dropout. look at where they stand. powerful n rich. yet some make use of their eduction to be where they are now. to me, working life can be lotsa fun if you truly enjoy your job, else it would be a very miserable thing. study on the other hand is not enjoyable. why?...bcos theres test n exams. however with new knowledge gained n friends to accompany you along, it gives study a whole new meaning. scholars shouldnt be the one who score well during exams but one who show great dedication n passion for what they are doin. juz like work. therefore im over the idea of winning those china baskets who surprisingly always get nearly perfectionist marks during exams. im not out there to show others that im smart, i juz wanna show others how much i love what im doin. i would continue working hard n give it my best so that i wouldn have to feel wasted when i failed. -albert einstein (when he finally invented the light bulb) henri j.m. nouwen once said: ''it is sad to see that, in our highly competitive and greedy world, we have lost touch with the joy of giving. we often live as if our happiness depended on having. but i dont know anyone who is really happy because of what he or she has. true joy, happiness and inner peace come from the giving of ourselves to others. a happy life is a life for others.'' as said, i feel happy when i see the smiles of others then the one of my own, alone. this is my perspective in life, to live it happy with everyone around me. theres a saying, 'looking but not seeing, hearing but not listening'. i believe that if we all learn to see and listen to what others have, we would be more understanding towards life itself. feel it with your heart instead of your head. Tschus! faith is were the biggest battles are fought 0 comments |
