class 2b: the second attempt
24 June 2008
6:15:00 PM
alright, ytd started off horribly.
thou i was determined to fail my first attempt, it wasnt the case in my second attempt. i wasnt prepared to fail! it felt like a goner since my last and final road revision on sunday took me on a leap of faith, disastrous. i did all three rounds of u-turn no better off than an elephant balancin on a tricycle. my right foot was down all the time...i wobble too much. i told myself...OMG! even on a straight road, i could lose balance. YOU MUST BE KIDDIN! i wasnt performin ): reporting learnt my lesson the other time reachin the driving center late. late-comers were forced to stand aside, something that i thought was stupid and rather malu. the instructors could only attend to us after everyone have submitted their ic + pdl. this time, i woke up early. gosh! i wonder why bbdc have only one slot for the test and that is 0730 (reporting time). the sun have not yet risen la! was lucky to have reached by 0740 (considering that i have only slept for 5 hrs), any later, the streams of testee would have consumed me. warm up then! the moments of truth. i thought to myself that if im unable to complete the circuit without an inch of sweat, im prepared. i was so wrong. my crank course was still in a mess (havin phobia for goin onto the kerb twice), didnt manage to hit the timing for balon and my e-break was beyond the stopping line! awww~ what a nice day to kick start my test later. i tried another round of warming up but i juz couldn hit the mark! was beginning to feel the weight. however, i remind myself to take the test like one of my so many RC(revision circuit) or SP(self practice) lesson. before test the instructor would go through the test route for one last time. then, everyone have to wait for the tester to be down to reconfirm our identity. the smaller numbers would have to get on their bikes whereas the big numbers have to freeze in the cold in the waiting room. as the bike leaves one by one, the tension builds up. sadly thou covered by glass, the sound of the bike's engine is still visible in the waiting room. SO ANNOYING! each test consist of 90 testee. so number 56 isnt too bad for me. while waiting, the sky didnt look so promising. however, the sun was up and it didnt rain! good news! test the test mainly consisted of: lane changing slope figure eight crank course left turn right turn narrow plank balon emergency brake junction checking slip road checking u-turn blind spot checking my figure eight was slow, crank course almost cause me to flunk, e-brake was a total mess *i was pissed with myself for not lettin go of the clutch more. then i realise i was in the right gear. sian... it wasnt the gear prob aft all, silly me. thou i tired to maintain as low demerit pts as possible, i feared the worst. this time round, i didnt get any immediate fail, thats good news (: *the diff of car and bike is that we needa freakin balance on the bike! the wait everyone were crossing their fingers. some already know their results base on their performance yet some were unsure and some were really confident. we proceed to lvl 3 room 5 for the results. usually, those who fail will have their checklist (list containing all the mistakes you have done during the test) return first by the respective tester. the tester will then go thru the mistakes. therefore, you wont wanna hear your number being called up. i was kinda feelin in the middle. i took extra precaution of booking for my next lessons (juz in case i failed). waiting was really stressful! the fact that i sat at the far end from the door, i was able to see blurry figures of ppl walking pass it and that poses a threat that it could be any white dressed guy approaching the waiting room. tmd! i was literally cursing everyone who passed by the door! cos i mistook everyone as the tester. omg! and those ppl who goes in and out of the room for toilet! nb! i thought another tester had made his way in! ha! i rmb the malay guy beside and that noisy malay girl diagonally infront of me were both staring at my stressed up face. so pressurising la! surprisingly, all testers were old man. so dont blame me if i cant rmb which is my tester. ha! i know of this guy in my grp so i was watchin his reaction if our tester had entered the room. everyone were talkin happily abt their mistakes and stuff. i was extremely stressed by my own STRESS! OMG! how could you not be nervous at all? its true that theres only two options, pass or fail. but its really nerve racking. then...came silence everytime a tester comes in the 5th tester looks familiar. looking at e guy from my grp, i knew that e old man is going to call out something...OMG! he called 58...59... but my grp starts with 55 right? OMG! it was hardly BELIEVABLE! my number wasnt called up! i was stunted... then e malay guy asked my test number n i told him. WOOTWOOT~!!! ![]() my lovely helmet and gloves (: thanks for all the good times we had been together ![]() ![]() aftermath i felt sry for that guy bcos that was his third time taking. good lucky dude, on ur next test. ha! found out that e noisy malay girl passed on her sixth attempt. 43 out of 81 passed. all of us had to watch a video and say a pledge before collection of checklist was allowed. many of them went ahead to make their license while those who alr got a license had to wait before the tester certified 'class 2b' on the existing license before collection. omg~ IT FELT SO SHIOK!!! and i passed my class 2b on the... twenty third 23! i always knew today would be a lucky day (: (i bet only reel knows why) HA! im so happy la! all those months of falling off the bike and kick startin the engine was so farking worthed it! *piss...i lied to my colleagues so that i could take time off to attend my test. ha! none of them knows! noone knows i was havin my test ytd bcos i was overly pang tang. ha! Tschus! next, class 4! boat license! international open water diving license! 0 comments |
