blogging serves as a memory machine that helped document the chronicles of the owner's life since 2005.

the owner has all rights to express opinions on this site and believes that no one should judge, comment and condemned because everyone have different perceptions of things around them.

running have always been and always will be the owner's favourite sport. in the past one year, the owner took up fencing, windsurfing and mountaineering to better help strengthen the body and mind. other sports that the owner loves are swimming, badminton, table tennis, xcountry, track and field, trekking, snorkelling, scuba diving, field hockey, biking, rugby. the sky is not the limit.

the owner has always been fascinated with music and believes that it is the universal language that gets across any barrier. all time favourite genres includes pop rock, punk rock, classical, flamenco and acoustic being the current one. guitar, the chosen instrument, has been with the owner since may 2007. all-things-guitar are self-taught, as the internet is a wonderful source of learning.

the love for travelling, the owner believes, has been nearly-explicitly written down on this blog. "the love for travelling" is actually an understatement, for the owner live to travel. the places that the owner have been to, although not that many yet, are pieces of puzzles that have taken their place in the owner's heart and soul and words are certainly incomparable with actual experiences.

photography has since played a major part in documenting the owner's travel experiences. thanks to the invention of cameras, the ability to capture emotions and actions of people and the awe of mother nature are made possible. a picture, and may the owner say a good one, paints a zeallion words. and that is the beauty of photography.

how i did it

what happen when you combine 3 generations of codes and layouts and blablabla together? u get a ~~masterpiece~~ blog that no one else has *pat on the back* nice going there evan!

i remembered my evil rainbow blog where i experimented on scrolls and colour code and text editing areas (was initially using blogger themes but felt they were rather lame -.-). my lair was close to perfection. thou it was pretty neat (achieving something without anyone's teaching), there was this depressing feeling (mainly bcos of the complex loggin ins) anw! the codes wasnt mine and the design too! -.-' it didnt stop me from investigating from html to css to possibly java/php (but too high of a level le). i did frontpage in yr 1 (totally waste of time and useless) and flash (im gradful of mr chen). had a crazy semester in yr 2 figuring out vb.net (how i wish they taught as c++). curiously, i picked up photoshop in my finial yr of study. i drew and coloured my first cartoon character with an awesome background in photoshop! earned me a dist (: that eventually gave me the thumbs up to start designing.

upon grad, there were tons of free time to kick start that bloody engin and revamp my awful looking immature blog. u rmb those days where polaroid cameras were still in fashion? naturally, i took a liking and frames was my theme! found a similar design that i wanted on blogskins. the operation went on for 1 week before my blog was reborn. it was hell! instead of text area, the body was in table form o.o? meaning instead of putting a patch of background under ur text or embedding a picture, you make use of tables like the ones in micro word. took me long enough to figure out how those shit codes (why cant we juz talk to a computer!). realised codes from wordpress cant be use in blogger. wanted to have tag clouds but its way too complex and i cant find the damn labels code! believe it or not, when twitter wasnt famous and everyone doesnt give a damn, i had a twitter acc! (and i thought no one would discover it so i could keep it all to myself T.T)<---shitty humans. then again, i wasnt too happy with the layout bcos i wanted the pictures to change when someone clicked on that but NO!!! i gave everything yet...there wasnt any sign of results~ i was feeling shitty juz thinking how those bastards on blogskins does them! (its tough combining both table and text links, none so far on blogskins)

that led me to a picture link text blog (like how u click on a certain something, the info appears)<---also mainly bcos i had to create race 7's webbie -.-' took way too much of my energy. played with mr main and mr box (finally getting the text to appear where it should be) and also had a taste of adjusting the freaking coor! learnt how to cheat/edit/mix/match the background (else what u see isnt that smooth if i hadnt figure out that shit piece of thing). race 7 blog was up so was my blog before i left for nz. i had the chance to create few other blogs like the one for vday? and again the shitty coor thingy...martian designed the background while i didnt really have much of a choice but to come up with the entire code. manage to customise my blog's code for vday blog (: and for ang moh blog! where (no where in my right mind would think it was possible) i didnt use a repeated pic and the comments link was rather weird but it pulled off after some nagging from ang moh cher about a must to have ur teammates to comment...so ya, it forced out my inner capabilities WOOT! *i discover how the word link works!

like how forest described...'work in uni keeps piling up so much so i have to use my mountaineering to get to the top' indeed~ blogging went dead again~
